In most cases you start with one person and list all of his or her ancestors – father, mother, grandparents, great grandparents, etc.

Or you can choose to find as many descendants as possible.
Nils Bengtsson and Bengta Isacsdotter in the example chart had six children, Johanna was their youngest daughter.
A chart of their descendants is 125x22 inches and contains 115 persons from seven generations.
